Streams

On the streams page, you will find your active streams and your archive (VODs).
At the top right of the window, you’ll see a green button labeled “+ Create Stream” to create a new stream.
To the right of each stream, you’ll find three icons.
Click the eye icon to view the stream, click the notepad with pen icon to edit settings, and click the red trash bin to delete the stream.

Active streams

Under “Active Streams” you will find a list of all your active streams.
The name of the stream is listed, followed by the stream start time and event start time.

To view the stream, click the eye icon; to make changes, click the notepad with pen icon; and to delete the stream, click the red trash bin and confirm your choice.

Archive (VODS)

Under “Archive (VODs)”, you will find a list of all your (inactive) streams, except for scheduled streams — those are listed under “Active Streams.”
The name of the stream is shown, followed by the stream start time and event start time. Finally, it will indicate whether the stream has yet to start or has already ended.

To view the stream, click the eye icon; to make changes, click the notepad with pen icon; and to delete the stream, click the red trash bin and confirm your choice.

Create Streams

To create a stream, click the green “+ Create Stream” button at the top right of the window.
Here, you can choose to create a completely new stream or import one via JUMP.

Create a Stream

When you want to create a stream from scratch, a separate window will open.
All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required; the rest are optional.

Stream name*
Enter the name of your stream here. What you enter will be visible to both you and your viewers.

Stream start*
To set your stream’s start time, click in the field and fill in the day, month, year, and time — or click the calendar icon to select the right moment.
We recommend setting the stream start time slightly earlier than the event start, so it’s already visible on your feed.

Event start
To set your event start time, click in the field and fill in the day, month, year, and time — or click the calendar icon to select the right moment.

“Stream start” is the moment your livestream goes online, when viewers can join.
“Event start” is when the actual program begins.
For example, you can go live at 14:00 but start the event itself at 14:15.

HLS Manifest URL
If the source of your stream comes from another platform, you can enter the link here to redirect it.

An HLS manifest URL refers to an M3U8 file (.m3u8) that contains the information a media player needs to play an HLS video.

Contributors
People with the roles producer, operator, admin, or owner can manage streams.
Before they can manage a selected stream, they must be granted access to it.
In this window, you can select contributors for the livestream. An owner is the platform’s owner and normally has access to all streams. This role can assign admin or operator roles to staff members to manage streams.

An owner is the platform’s owner and normally has access to all streams. This role can assign admin or operator roles to staff members to manage streams.
An admin is a platform administrator and normally has access to all streams. This role can assign operator roles to staff members.
A producer is a designated role for staff members allowed to manage streams. Anyone with a producer role can manage any stream.
An operator is a designated role for staff members allowed to manage streams. Before they can manage a given stream, they must be granted access via the “Contributors” window by an owner or admin.

Browser source URL
Add an external source via URL (for example, a scoreboard or overlay). This will automatically become visible when your stream starts.

Overlay activation delay (seconds)
The number you enter here determines the delay for the overlay.
This means there will be a buffer between the actions you perform in your overlay and when they appear on the livestream. This gives you more time to process events before they are shown on the stream.

You’ll then receive a confirmation in a blue box at the bottom right, and shortly after, the overlay will appear on your stream.
