Introduction
On this page, you will find a collection of video guides with additional step-by-step instructions for the JUMP Live Director. With our live director, you can control your stream interaction in real time from anywhere; manage your streams, add overlays, and access a range of dynamic features.

Streams
Create a Stream
- Click “Streams” in the main menu.
- Then click the green “+ Create Stream” button at the top right of the window.
- Choose between “Create a Stream” or “Import from JUMP.”
- In essence, they do the same thing — “Import from JUMP” simply copies certain attributes from an existing stream.
- When you have chosen “Import from JUMP,” select a stream to import and then click the green “Import from JUMP” button.
- Enter a stream name under “Stream name*.”
- Select a stream start time under “Stream start*.” Optionally, you can also choose an event start time.
- Assign contributors under “Contributors.”
- This list contains all staff members with an operator role.
- Choose a Browser source URL if applicable.
- Enter a delay in seconds under “Overlay activation delay” if needed.
- After filling in all the details, click “Create stream” to create the stream.
Delete a Stream
- Click “Streams” in the main menu.
- Click “Archive (VODs)” to view all your inactive streams, except for pre-scheduled streams.
- Click the eye icon to the right of the stream to view it.
- Click the trash bin icon to the right of the stream to delete it.
- Click “Delete stream” to permanently delete the stream.
Director
Open Live Director
- Click “Streams” in the main menu.
- Under the Streams window, click “Active Streams.”
- Click “Director” to the right of your active live stream.
- Before being redirected, you’ll be asked whether to activate overlay delays.
- In most cases, click “Do not use Delays,” unless you have a reason to do otherwise.
- To enable an overlay, select a folder and asset on the right side of the stream, and click the green (▷) button to turn on the overlay.
- To disable an overlay, select a folder and asset on the right side of the stream, and click the red (X) button to turn off the overlay.
- Click “Publish to JUMP” to publish the stream on JUMP.
- Click “Edit stream” to adjust the name, contributors, or delay.
- Click “Stop stream” to end the livestream.
- Click “Exit Director” in the top left corner of the window to exit the Live Director.
Assets
Folder/Asset aanmaken en aan overlay toevoegen
- To add a scoreboard to your overlay, you first need to create a folder and an asset.
- Click “Assets” in the menu.
- Click the green “+ Add folder” button at the top right of the window.
- Enter a name and description, then click “Create folder” at the bottom right of the window.
- Add an asset by clicking the field with “+ Add asset.”
- Now open the Live Director by clicking “Streams” in the menu, and then clicking “Director” next to your desired stream.
- In Director, select your folder on the right side of the stream.
- Click the (▷) button next to the asset in your folder to add the overlay to your stream.
- Click the (X) button next to the asset in your folder to remove the overlay from your stream.
- By clicking the “V” icon to the right of the folder, you can open other folders.
User management

- Click “User Management” in the main menu.
- To edit a user, click the notepad icon next to the desired user under “All Users.”
- You can now edit the user’s name and role.
- Click “Save Changes” at the bottom right of the window to save your edits.
- To add a user, click the “Add User” button at the top right of the window.
- Enter the user’s email address — this is where their invitation will be sent.
- Enter a name for the user.
- Select a role for the user.
- Click “Send Invite” at the bottom right of the window to send the invitation.
- Under “Outgoing Invites,” you can see all sent invitations.
- To delete a user or cancel an invitation, click the red trash bin to the right of the user.
- Confirm your choice by clicking “Delete User” at the bottom right of the window.
